Accompanied
Children 1 to 3 years old will experience fun playtime in and around the water. Children may be cautious or fearful. The goal of this class is not to learn water survival or swimming skills, but to equip family members by engaging in safe and positive water interactions, thereby setting the child up for future swimming success. A responsible adult must accompany each child in the water for swim class.

Preschool
Children ages 3-5 who are able to tolerate splashing water will learn basic water safety skills and gradually be introduced to holding their breath, submerging their heads, floating, rolling, and moving about the pool with and without assistance and floatation devices. Children will advance at their own pace by means of songs, games, and short lessons with instructor assisted practice.

Learn-to-Swim
Children ages 6-10 will be assessed during the first class. Beginners will start with the foundations of submersion, gliding, and floating. Intermediate and advanced swimmers will focus on stroke development, treading water and retreiving objects. All Learn-to-Swim students will practice age-appropriate water safety and water survival skills.

Level 3+ Swim
Children ages 6-10 who have completed learn-to-swim levels 1 & 2 and have knowledge of the four fundamental swim strokes. Learn-to-swim Levels 3+ participants will achieve basic water competency in a pool environment, refine swim strokes and will be considered independent swimmers. All students will practice age-appropriate water safety and water survival skills.
